willow tree Rant II

I'm in charge of giftware at Christian Publications. Right now as my claim to fame I have over 800 nativities around our story. Nativities of all shapes, sizes, skin colors, animals, veggies, goth looking things, and something that resembles a Lord of the Rings nativity. First of all I'd like to stop the rumor that I am purchasing a simpsons nativity. All simpsons collectors know that there isn;t such a thing number one, number two hello sacralidge (wrong spelling) or sacralicious. There is however a simpsons Christmas village equipt with moe's tavern, kwiki mart, simpsons home, power plant, bowling alley etc. Anyway I didn't order these 800 nativities but it is still my responsiblity to due my best to move them for the christmas season. If you could see the mounds of fake moss, porcelin, straw, and sheep in my life you'd pity me. Now a special nativity of contention is the willow tree nativity. Reason being is that most pieces are all sold individually and the total price is over 500 dollars. Looking at this faceless, not real wood nativity would you spend $500? You see my delima, although we purchased over 50 peices of this thing.... so all you willow tree collectors I know you are out there... shauna... come on down to nativities R US and find what you are looking for.

halloween around the corner

So first off I tried to post a pic of Kevin and I so that if you haven't seen him or us yet that is what we look like (although I think you've all seen us) anyway, pretty proud of the pic, but the internet is being so freakin slow today, so I'll have to do it later.
Anyway Kev's band is playing this sunday at life spring for the service, it would be sweet if you guys could come, and support the band. I know the weirdness with Lifespring and the Storm sitch, but it would be awesome if you'd come anyway.
So that's sunday morning, then at 1ish the girls are going shopping!! Yea!! girl time (by the way I think we should add the signal hill outlet mall to our list of places)
But LATER precisely at 9pm is the SImpsons 16th season HALLOWEEN EPISODE!!! AN event that can only be made cooler with some good old pumpkin carving. So you are all invited to come carve pumpkins, drink beer and watch simpsons and family guy. It's been a tradition every year to carve up some pumpkins, weenz generally carves ninja turtles, I like simpsons pics... NO EXPLICIT PUMPKINS KEVIN... he he he (: Anyway come at like 8 and we'll go get some pumpkins (Safeway, Coop etc)
Let me know whatcha think

Worst Breakin Ever!

So explain to me why as a thief it is necessary to bust 2 windows to grab "the stuff"? wouldn't logic suggest that you break one window and then manually open the door for easy access. Although logic would also have suggested that crowbar guy take the cd player and my camera, and goo goo dolls cd (only things left in my car) along with my wallet and cds. But for some reason he left the first 3. But as I am driving with my new slightly breezier plastic windows, with no drivers liscense, money, or id of any kind I am slightly comforted by the fact that there's no way in hell he will get any money for those 20 odyessy cds.... may he be taunted by the WOW hits 98-03 forever mwah ha ha

ps, I gotta boy, and he's pretty sweet. ;)

four legged friend

WHY WON'T HE LET ME HAVE A PUPPY???
One of the joys of renting is the anal requirements of your landlord and his "not liking" animals in the house. I also have an allergic roomate, which should be my primary concern... but I so miss having a dog.
So I want you to take this little pole which puppy would you pick?
Pictures included.
golden retriever
dalmation
sheltie
basset hound (that one's for you kev)
beagle
chocolate lab

Let me know what you think

How I miss you
My first car,
My first road,
My first slide,
My first crash,
My first ditch,
My first donught,
My only keyless car, (that would be sweet still)
My first am/fm radio
My first 4x4
How I miss you

That was a little poem going out to my Eagle. My most missed car in winter and on gravel. Happy 24th! If you see him cruising in lethbridge be sure to give him a little honk, just from me... he'll know who its from.

renentering the blog world

Thanksgiving trip post
*A*dventures in odyessy isn't geeky for a 23 yearolds... i think.
*D*on't ever take the coquahalla if you ever expect to get to somewhere on time.
*V*ehical warning lights tend to signify something important.
*E*ventually fast food decomposes in your car.
*N*ever underestimate the hospitality of a matri de at 1 am at the holliday inn.
*T*urkey is best consumed with best friends. Cranberry sauce pleases few.
*U*2 will always be the most rockin band around.
*R*eal moments are best captured with a selftimer on the side of a highway.
*E*ntering the thetis forests... time seems to stop.

ps... listening to Damien Rice, "cannonball" while writing... deepens the mood.
